Does it handle GST and payroll compliance?

Yes. Foboma is GST-aware — CGST, SGST and IGST are computed correctly on every invoice, with per-item or common GST and inter-state splits. Payroll has PF, ESIC and Professional Tax built in, and the financial year follows the Indian April–March cycle with auto-reset invoice numbering. Licence and document expiry tracking is included too.

Is my data secure and private to my business?

Yes. Your business lives in its own isolated, multi-tenant workspace — no other Foboma customer can see your data. Users you invite only see the modules and records their role allows. Every delete or cancel goes through an undo toast and an audit log you can review any time, and your data is backed up automatically every night.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Foboma runs in the browser on any device, and you can install it as a PWA for an app-like experience with dark mode. The only optional install is the Foboma ESSL Agent, which connects a biometric device for automatic attendance — everything else works straight from the browser.

Can my billing staff use it without seeing everything?

Yes — that is exactly what the cashier front-desk mode is for. It is a simplified billing screen for counter staff that shows only what they need to take payments, while granular per-user permissions and role-based access keep the rest of your numbers private.
